Immediately after registration you will be shipped the required course manuals, as well as step-by-step directions on how to prepare for a successful ACLS class experience. Between the pre-course preparation and the day long teaching, you will be ready to succeed! ACLS Provider Cards are awarded the same day as class.

A First Time Advanced Cardiac Life Support class can be intimidating at first glance. Please be assured that CPR Tampa teaches this course in the most non-intimidating manner. We welcome students with a big smile from the first time they walk through our door. This friendly, relaxed and caring approach continues throughout the entire day until smiles and goodbyes are said. We take this very seriously. Your success and satisfaction means everything to us. Our goal is to provide the best ACLS class Tampa has to offer.

Here is an overview of what is covered in an AHA ACLS course: Airway management including multiple airways, intubation and respiratory arrest. 1 rescuer CPR with and AED and review of H’s and T’s. Review and management of ventricular fibrillation and pulseless ventricular tachycardia, bradycardia, PEA, and asystole. stroke, importance of early recognition, rTPA, Cincinnati Stroke Scale, acute coronary syndrome, Mega Code scenarios and written exam.

All of the above is covered thoroughly throughout the day by the instructor. There is plenty of time for questions and practice.

Same Day! All American Heart Association cards are now digital. You will receive your digital card by midnight on the day you take your class or skills check.

Yes. The American Heart Association requires that every student has access to a manual before, during and after class. 

When you register for the 1st Time ACLS class with us, the ACLS Provider Manual is already included and will be mailed to you.

Although class times vary depending on the number of students, the class duration of 8-9 hours is set by the American Heart Association guidelines.

Yes! It is possible to get all these certifications on the same day with our Blended Online Learning option for BLS, ACLS and PALS. This is where you complete the online portion at home and then visit our training site for the skills session check-off, i.e., the hands-on portion. You will receive all 3 cards on the day of the successful skills session completion.

If you are looking entirely for in-person classes, and have a current ACLS certification that needs to be renewed, then you can take our ACLS-BLS Combo course on the same day. If you don’t have a current ACLS that’s not expired more than 90 days, then you must take the 1st Time ACLS class. You can also add BLS on the same day.

For PALS, if you are current and not more than 90 days expired, you can take the PALS Renew. If more than 90 days expired, you must take the 1st Time PALS class.

Call us and we will be happy to help you register for these certifications in order to best fit your schedule.

All American Heart Association cards are now digital. If you lose access to your card, there is a $20 recovery cost for each occurrence. However, if you purchased Card Insurance, recovering access to your card is FREE for 2 full years. To request a replacement card simply email us.

No. However, if you need a BLS Certificate you can add it at the time of checkout. This way you can get both ACLS and BLS on the same day.

The American Heart Association no longer provides physical cards. All cards are in digital format that you can access and print.

Once you have accessed your card through the AHA’s website, you will have the option to download and print the eCard, which is in PDF format.

For the First Time ACLS class, it is mandatory to complete the ACLS Precourse Work (KJ-1498). This course will help you prepare and pass your ACLS class. You cannot take the 1st time ACLS class without completing this prior to your class.

After you register, you will receive an email with the step-by-step instructions on how to access these courses.
