What is Blended Online Learning?
The AHA Blended learning is a combination of eLearning, where the student learns part of the course online, followed by a hands-on skills session. The hands-on skills session is completed in person with an AHA Instructor.
Which AHA Online Classes Do You Offer Hands-On Skills Checks for?
- BLS for Healthcare Providers (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- HeartSaver CPR AED and/or First Aid Skills Check
How Do I Register?
- Choose the skills testing that you need below.
- Fill out one page registration page.
- You will be emailed confirmation and directions on how to schedule a skills check that fits into your schedule.

Register for the Basic Life Support (BLS) Skills Check to complete your American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.

No problem. You can sign up for both the online part and the skills check in Tampa here. AHA Online Courses
American Heart Association certifications that you receive after completion of the online part and then the Skills Check are good for two years. You must then renew within 2 years to keep your certification up to date.
The required information is included in the online course, so you do not need a separate manual.
